SDWEG member Zoe Ghahremani highlights local authors through the San Diego Library's Friends of the Library Author of the Month program. We are delighted she chose the San Diego Writers and Editors Guild for February. Though past featured authors have been individuals, she invited the Guild to send three members whose works are included in the 2019 edition of The Guilded Pen to speak on Saturday, February 8, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Central Library.
Guild members Gered Beeby, Bob Doublebower, and Leon Lazarus will represent the Guild at this event. Come hear them speak and support the Guild.

If you missed last month's 54th Local Author Showcase public opening, also at the San Diego Central Library, here's where to look for the 2019 edition of The Guilded Pen--in a special case along with a couple of manual typewriters.
The Showcase runs throughout the entire month of February when qualified books are displayed in the Dickinson Popular Library at the San Diego Central Library @ Joan Λ Irwin Jacobs Common. Submitted publications are also showcased in an Online Gallery that lasts throughout the year and features author information, book cover images, and title and publishing information. In addition, the books will be available for public to check-out for the remainder of the year.
