November Workshop Features Mike Gibbs and the 3-Act Structure

This workshop was originally scheduled for October and is being rescheduled for November.

Michael O. Gibbs has extensive wilderness survival knowledge learned as an Army Green Beret. He is an animal behaviorist and teaches both animal and man tracking to the military, search and rescue teams, and other groups. He has spent decades studying the hunter-gatherer cultures of North America and written two novels about Native American life on the plains before the incursions of the Europeans.

On Saturday, November 21st, Mike will present a workshop on the three-act structure.

The Workshop

This workshop will teach how to structure your novel as a three-act play.

You’ll learn the plot points and how to determine what scenes you need.

The workshop is free to SDWEG members and will be held via Zoom on Saturday, November 21st from 9 a.m. to noon.

You will be writing and putting your story into the 3-act structure, so bring your laptop or tablet.

  • Understanding Three-Act Play Structure
  • How to create a Plot Point Outline
  • Other time-saving hints
  • And, workshop activities in these areas
