In order to ensure the highest level of support for our members, the Guild implemented an automatic membership management application on the website and activated that application on May 3. This is the same application that permits us to provide Members Only access to certain Guild website content.
The membership management application automates the payment and registration of new members. New members will now first be presented with the membership payment options for regular, dual, and student membership rates. Once the payment has been processed through PayPal, new members will receive a message with instructions on how to register on the website.
The membership management application will also prompt members to renew their membership when it is near to its expiration. Members have the option of accepting auto renewal to simplify the renewal process for both members and the Guild.
If you have already registered on our website, you need do nothing new to maintain your membership online. If you haven't yet registered, we encourage you do so by following the instructions here. You should do this before your membership approaches its expiration date which in most cases will be December 31, 2019. If you need help, send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will continue to provide support and benefits to our members who do not have access to the Internet or email addresses, as well as those who choose not to participate in the online registration process, outside of the membership management application. If you choose not to include your contact information through the registration system, please send a message to email@example.com to let us know you prefer we continue to track your membership offline.
We will continue to explore potential benefits to offer our members through the Members Only portion of the website.
