    February 25 (Monday, 7:30 pm) — An Evening of Language and Laughter with Richard Lederer, Union-Tribune language columnist Richard Lederer who will take you on a joy ride through the glories and oddities of our marvelous English language. Come prepared to laugh at and learn from Dr. Lederer’s comic riffs. Rich will perform his world-famous “The World According to Student Bloopers” and his Quasimodo and Prinderella classic puns. This is a benefit performance for North Coast Repertory Theatre. All ticket sales and proceeds from the auctions go to the theatre.

    February 28 (Thursday, 7:30 pm) — Dean Nelson will discuss and sign his new book, Talk to Me: How to Ask Better Questions, Get Better Answers, and Interview Anyone Like a Pro. Dean Nelson is the founder and director of the journalism program at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. He is also the founder and host of the annual Writers Symposium by the Sea. A forty-year veteran journalist, Nelson’s bylines have appeared in major publications throughout The US.
